Under the supervision of the Manager, Health Equity, the Analyst I - Health Equity position will perform analytical work to support the regulatory needs associated with health equity requirements. The Analyst I - Health Equity will be required to research existing policies and procedures that have an impact to health equity and provide detailed findings to management and will collaborate with the Quality department on data requests to support reporting requirements.
1. Collaborate with IEHP departments to coordinate, compile and monitor assigned projects and regulatory reports to ensure reporting is complete and submitted timely.
2. Analyze report requests to determine users’ needs and objectives, identify the correct criteria to meet reporting request and ensure the delivered report is accurate, timely, and formatted appropriately; examples of such reporting include DHCS APL on DEI Trainings which will require adherence and compliance of completion.
3. Maintain knowledge of the various data sources utilized by the department for regulatory reporting, as well as a clear understanding of IEHP business operations to be able to appropriately apply criteria and methodology to meet requestors’ reporting needs.
4. Participate in the analysis, interpretation, and translating of complex data, issues, trends, and relationships into effective strategies and action plans and maintain solid working relationships with key stakeholders in Quality.
5. Troubleshoot reporting issues as well as incorrect data results and provide support and work as a liaison between database users and the IT department as needed.
6. Serve as health equity SME in informing business requirements to support data analysis and segmentation of member demographic data.
7. Manage assigned projects and effectively communicating with teams in advance if any project deadlines do not meet project due date.
8. Document all reporting projects and reports consistently, following department protocols, and ensure updates to department processes and standard reporting documentation is completed as updates occur.
9. Create and maintain a master dashboard with which monitors all health equity related regulatory requirements.
10. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others throughout the organization.
Two (2) or more years of experience in report writing and analysis, including extensive use and understanding of MS Access, Excel, Visio, Word, and Power Point.
Experience in the healthcare field is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in from an accredited institution required.
Excellent interpersonal/communication skills, both verbal and writing. Skilled in Microsoft Applications: Visio, Power Point, Word and Excel.
Ability to handle multiple projects, data input, and strong problem-solving capability. Excellent data collection and systemization abilities. High attention to detail and accuracy.

Position is eligible for Hybrid work location upon completing the necessary steps and receiving HR approval. All IEHP positions approved for telecommute or hybrid work locations may periodically be required to report to IEHP’s main campus for mandatory in-person meetings or for other business needs as determined by IEHP leadership.
A reasonable salary expectation is between $61,422.40 and $78,312.00, based upon experience and internal equity.
