Pay Range: $35 - $38 per hour

The Position: 

We are looking for Respiratory Therapist. A registered professional who plans, organizes and conducts respiratory therapy treatment to patients of all age groups. Job duties include but are not limited to: 

  • Provide coordinated care to patients of all age groups.
  • Plans, implements and evaluates patient care plans to restore or maintain patient well-being.
  • Collaborates with other medical professionals.
  • Meeting mandatory continuing education requirements of licensing board.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly T/V schedule
    • Modify, Add, and Cancel class as needed
    • Assist with scheduling attendees of classes
    • Teach classes as assigned
    • Updated classes as needed
    • Provide class attendees attendance sheets, and class evaluations
    • Travel to AOC branches to provide classes, approx. 2-3 nights/week
  • Provide feedback on T/V attendees to assist scheduling department
  • Provide support, advice and recommendations to field staff, office staff and clients as requested
  • Update T/V class as needed to keep up with current issues/modalities
  • Instruct technical/customer service training to AOC employees as requested

Are You the Right Candidate? 

Please apply if you have the following qualifications. 

  • Graduation from a 1-year program, RRT
  • An associate degree or graduate from an NBRC, National Board for Respiratory Care, approved program
  • Current Texas State License as a Respiratory Therapist & current driver’s license.
  • Therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice. Good interpersonal skills. Proof of current CPR, and Hepatitis profile. Knowledge of durable medical equipment.
  • Reliable transportation and valid and current auto liability insurance.
