General Summary of Position:

The UMMS medical students will help annotate the deidentified EHR notes. This work has been approved by the UML IRB. The UML IRB considers these students to be annotators and members of Hong Yu’s team.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

Education:

  • Current or previous medical students in medical schools

Skills:

  • Master the basic knowledge and scientific methods of natural sciences, humanities and social sciences related to medicine, and be able to use them in medical practice
  • Grasp the normal structure, function and metabolism of the human body at all stages of life, and the normal psychological state
  • Be able to describe the etiology, pathogenesis, natural course, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of diseases at various stages of life
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
