Producer, News and Informative Shows

About the Role
The Producer for News and Informative Shows is responsible for overseeing all aspects of news production and informational programming. This role includes coordination of the creative and technical aspects of broadcasts, ensuring content quality, budget control, and logistical organization. The Producer works closely with journalists, editors, and technical teams to deliver timely, engaging, and accurate programming.

Job Description 

• Ensures that all news productions and informational programs are completed on time and to high-quality standards
• Works closely with journalists, editors, and presenters to ensure accurate content presentation
• Organizes filming and live broadcasts, ensuring the presence and technical readiness of crews and equipment
• Prepares and monitors the production budget for news and programs, ensuring optimal resource utilization
• Collaborates with directors, technicians, editors, and other production teams to successfully complete projects
• Ensures that the produced content meets the channel's standards and journalistic ethics regulations
• Handles emergencies and situations during live broadcasts or breaking news reports with flexibility and composure
• Ensures that projects are completed within specified timelines, especially for news reports with strict deadlines
• Takes care of the procurement of equipment and supplies, such as makeup materials, or other technical equipment, as well as the hiring of external contractors when needed

• Diploma in Cinematography, Journalism, Media Production or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in news production, television broadcasting, or a similar role
• Proficiency in budget management and financial oversight for production
• Familiarity with the latest production technologies and software
• Ability to adapt quickly to the fast-paced and dynamic nature of news production
• Excellent project management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
• Knowledge of SAP or similar resource management tools is preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
• Ability to adapt to changes
