Research Scientist / Research Engineer, Pretraining - job 1 of 2
Anthropic is looking for a Research Scientist / Research Engineer to join their Pretraining team. They are committed to creating safe and beneficial AI systems and seek individuals passionate about pushing the boundaries of AI.
Skills
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or Machine Learning
- Strong software engineering skills
- Expertise in Python and deep learning frameworks
- Familiarity with large-scale machine learning
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and implement solutions in areas such as model architecture and algorithms
- Independently lead small research projects
- Design, run, and analyze scientific experiments
- Optimize and scale training infrastructure
- Develop and improve dev tooling
Education
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field
