Reports to Art Director – Brand and Social Content
Overview We are looking for a Jr. Social Video Content Creator to create and execute concepts for content on all social media channels, other website content and more. As a key member of the creative team, you will work cross functionally and with consultants, but you will still be a creator first. You will be expected to create and produce 90% of the time, so if you love ideas and execution, then you have come to the right place. You’ll be video editing, shooting, and collaborating on all diverse types of content — from interviews and trend stories to product launches . . . your imagination is the only real limit. You will work with the internal team of AD’s, stylists, and designers on industry relevant inspiration, leveraging our internal studio to produce fresh product driven content, and ensure a steady stream of “only from Anthro” content that sets us apart from the competition and category. Ultimately, you will help inspire our audience by delivering both useful and appealing content that creates loyalty and encourages product purchase.
Responsibilities
Editing
• Edit footage in-house.
• License appropriate music, and work with Art Director to create and implement titles and graphics.
• Work closely with the rest of the team to gather, organize, and edit content from recorded material. This will consist of video and audio, but may also include art layer, titles, and motion graphics.
• Create various edits optimized for different social media platforms
• Ability to pare down long form cuts for shorter social / paid assets
• Ability to create “video” assets when traditional video is not available.
• Prepare videos for distribution to various outlets.
Concepting
• Work with Sr Art Director, Art Director, and other members of the Creative Department to develop video concepts for upcoming shoots.
• Gather strong photo and video inspiration sources to create compelling proposals.
• Ensure that our overall video content strategy--and the aesthetic of every video we create--is innovative and on-brand.
Shooting
• Assist on video shoots as a videographer / camera operator. With opportunities to shoot
some projects independently depending on the scale.
Qualifications & Job Skills
• Understanding of Anthropologie culture and brand image.
• True passion for art, fashion, current trends, models, and photography.
• Understanding of the “on-set” experience and working with a team to create the best video/product.
• Impressive portfolio of past work.
• Ability to work quickly and stay calm under pressure.
• Strong initiative and motivation to constantly experiment and improve upon each project.
• Self-motivator who can generate ideas for projects independently and collaboratively, and communicate those ideas effectively to the team while working under tight deadlines.
• Oversee inventory and maintenance of video and editing equipment.
• Maintain personal knowledge and skill level of current and future video technologies in the industries of fashion, photography, and art.
• Extensive knowledge of and experience with industry-standard equipment.
• Extensive knowledge of professional video software (Adobe Premiere, Speed Grade or Davinci Resolve, After Effects, audio editing and mixing, compression for editing and delivery).
• Ability to troubleshoot software and equipment and maintain detailed file-based workflow.
• Maintain inspiration library and research innovative ideas and concepts for projects.
Education -Bachelor’s Degree in Videography, or a related field. 1-2 years of professional video experience.
Location - Hybrid- Philadelphia, PA
Travel - Some travel required for location shoots
