AP Accountant

Description

We are looking for an Accountant with a finance or accounting background to strengthen our company in Tbilisi. In this role, you will work with the global shared service Accounts Payable accounting team and engage in month-closure and other accounting-related tasks. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Check the correctness of accounting attributes for expenditure-supporting documents
• Manage bank payments to EPAM counterparties: domestic and foreign wire payments, batch and individual transfers
• Conduct US GAAP bookkeeping of company expenditures, respective accounts payable, and bank payments
• Close the accounts in SAP monthly
• Deal with audit requests and participate in meetings with external and internal auditors
• Take part in regular improvement process activities with the IT development team, analyze areas of improvement, and test new improvements

WHAT YOU HAVE

• Finance or accounting background
• 1+ years of accounting working experience
• Familiarity with MS Office, especially Excel
• English level – B1 and higher, both written and spoken

NICE TO HAVE

• ACCA/DipIFR certifications
• Knowledge of SAP
