Director of Engineering, Renter
Apartment List is on a mission to find every renter a home they love. They are looking for a Director of Engineering to lead the Renter Pillar with a strong background in engineering and team management.
Skills
- Strong experience in building and maintaining scalable backend systems
- Understanding of agile methodologies
- Experience managing teams of engineers
- Ability to lead with clarity in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Drive the strategic vision and tactical execution of the Renter Pillar
- Bring technical expertise and guidance to team planning efforts
- Guide a team of engineers to build and extend their web application for renters
- Hire and mentor engineers to build a high-performing engineering team
- Partner with key stakeholders across the organization
Education
- BA in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, Engineering or related field recommended but not required
