Senior Product Manager

Who we are:

Apella is applying computer vision, machine learning and natural language processing to improve the standard of care in the most critical aspect of healthcare: surgery. We build applications to enable surgeons, nurses, and hospital administrators to deliver the highest quality care.

We are building our product manager team and we need brave people who are not afraid to jump in and work on unfamiliar systems and improve them. Our product team will work with the founders, clinical advisors, early customers, software engineers and designers to create and execute our product roadmap.

• You enjoy working directly with designers and engineers to ship great products.
• Passionate about creating value for buyers while delivering a product that users love.

• 7+ years experience as a software PM
• Strong analytical skills (SQL, Excel, Google Sheets, Metabase or similar).
• Experience building and shipping applications or software within a large-scale, ambiguous domain.
• Experience of going through a full product lifecycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization and pre/post-launch execution.
• Extra points for people with experience in healthcare tech or with AI/ML products.

• Work the founders and clinical advisors to identify opportunities and refine product vision.
• Incorporate data, research and market analysis to keep the company ahead of the competition.
• Lead a team of engineers, designers and to define, prioritize and execute product roadmap
• Collaborate with Design to incorporate customer feedback into product roadmap
