Position Overview: As the Product Marketing Manager with a focus on Competitive Intelligence, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product positioning, go-to-market strategies, and sales enablement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of the competitive landscape, industry trends, and the ability to translate competitive insights into actionable strategies that contribute to the success of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
Competitive Landscape Analysis:
Conduct in-depth research on competitors, analyzing their products, positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategies. Maintain a comprehensive database of competitive intelligence to inform decision-making.
Product Positioning:
Develop and refine product positioning strategies based on competitive insights. Differentiate our products in the market by highlighting key strengths and unique selling propositions.
Go-to-Market Strategy:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies. Ensure that go-to-market plans leverage competitive intelligence to maximize product success.
Sales Enablement:
Provide the sales team with up-to-date competitive insights and training materials. Equip the sales team with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively position our products against competitors.
Market Trends and Industry Analysis:
Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes. Analyze how these factors impact the competitive landscape and our product positioning.
Content Development:
Create compelling marketing content that effectively communicates our product's advantages over competitors. Develop content that educates both internal teams and external audiences on competitive differentiators.
Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with product management, marketing, and sales teams to align strategies with overall business goals. Act as a key liaison between product management and other departments to ensure a unified approach.
Measurement and Optimization:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of competitive intelligence efforts. Continuously optimize strategies based on performance metrics and market feedback.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
Proven experience in product marketing, with a specific focus on competitive intelligence.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to translate complex competitive insights into actionable strategies.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving competitive advantage.
$125,000 - $130,000 a year
