Because together, we have the power to create extraordinary outcomes for our customers, our communities, and ourselves.The Executive & Equity Compensation Analyst will be responsible for the overall management and administration of AppFolio’s executive compensation and equity programs.Your impact• Oversee third-party stock administration team, ensuring seamless execution of day-to-day transactions including new grant issuance, option exercises, RSU releases, and (future state) employee stock purchases.• Become the go-to resource for equity compensation at AppFolio, meeting with employees as needed, managing internal communications, and providing consultations with TA, HRBPs, and department leaders.• Own analyses for equity programs including budgeting, planning, tracking, dilution, and WASO forecasting.• Support the Legal & Compliance team with Section 16 reporting, including Form 3 and Form 4 filings, 10b5-1 transactions, and maintenance of trading blocks to other designated ‘Insider’ accounts.• Facilitate research, planning, and drafting of materials in support of quarterly Compensation Committee meetings.• Take a leading role in annual executive compensation planning and preparation of the annual proxy statement.• Partner across the business launching comprehensive equity compensation employee education and enablement tools.• Increasing involvement in other compensation-related areas and special projects over time.Qualifications• Ability to collect and analyze information, problem-solve, and make recommendations or decisions.• Big picture thinker who thoughtfully considers how events, challenges, new information and decisions may impact or connect to others and seizes the opportunity to join the associated people and teams.• Doesn’t let important details “slip” through the cracks.You have attention to detail and look for ways to improve and promote quality. You apply feedback to improve performance and monitor your own work to ensure quality.• Ability to exercise discretion, judgment, tact and poise in handling highly sensitive and confidential information.• Can work independently and manage a wide variety of projects simultaneously under tight deadlines, yet knows when to ask for help.• Ability to learn quickly, self-starter. Self-directed individual with initiative, interpersonal, time management and problem-solving skills.• You are a good listener and get clarification when needed. You respond quickly and effectively to questions from internal customers. You speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations. You write clearly and informatively.Must have• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or related fields.• 4+ years experience in executive compensation and/or equity administration experience.• Proven analytical skills with ability to find solutions and build successful partnerships across all levels.• Advanced Excel user and proficiency in using the G-Suite and MS suite of products.• Highly organized and motivated with the ability to work on multiple projects while delivering on high stake results on time.Nice to have• CEP or CCP designation• Experience working for a public company in Finance or Human Resources.• Strong and demonstrated success and understanding of financial and accounting statements.Compensation & BenefitsThe base salary/hourly wage that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is: $88,000-$121,000The actual base salary/hourly wage for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: the candidate’s skills, education, experience, etc.Please note that base pay is one important aspect of a compelling Total Rewards package. The base pay range indicated here does not include any additional benefits or bonuses/commissions that you may be eligible for based on your role and/or employment type.Regular full-time employees are eligible for benefits - see here.#LI-MM1
