Senior Accountant

Appian is a software company that automates business processes and is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their corporate accounting team responsible for international accounting and reporting.

Responsibilities

Providing accounting support to the monthly, quarterly and annual accounting for Appian’s foreign subsidiaries.
Interface with Appian’s accounting partners for accurate data consolidation.
Responsible for balance sheet and income statement reviews.
Coordinate with corporate departments for transaction resolution.
Ensure timely and accurate GL accounting and reconciliation.
Review monthly journal entries submitted by local accountants.
Assist with payroll accounting questions.
Coordinate with the US accounting team on compensation and annual filing requirements.
Execute controls and close processes for compliance.
Support external audits as required.

Education

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
CPA preferred
