This Remote Patient Outreach Specialist Position Features:• Company That Celebrates De&i• Team Oriented• Pay $20/hrPatient Outreach Specialist:Our client is actively looking for Temp Outreach Specialists to join the Patient Engagement Team. The ideal candidates should be self-motivated, compassionate, and have a strong background in motivational interviewing and patient outreach. In this role, you will be conducting emergency department, wellness, or preventative service outreach calls to provide patient education about clinic appointment availability and identify and communicate if the patient has any care coordination or triaging needs from the supported practice. In addition, you will be expected to provide qualitative and quantitative insights and feedback on your outreach efforts. All work will occur in partnership with the market and practice leadership team.The duties of this position are:Conduct direct telephonic outreach to patients on the provided list.Follow standard messaging provided by the client and following the highest standard of customer service, assist patients in setting up an appointment with their primary care provider (PCP).Apply motivational interviewing tactics to break down psychosocial barriers to scheduling and keeping appointments with the patients’ best interests in mindAct as a liaison for the patient and practice by directing calls to other appropriate individuals or departments as needed.Respond to incoming and outgoing calls or texts by providing direction to patients' questions and/or concerns.Educate patients on services offered by the practice(s)Track outreach and outcome documentation in the client App and/or in a shared Google Drive document or other tracking system provided by the client.Identify outreach trends and report back learnings to the team and share creative ideas for increasing patient visits.Retain some degree of flexibility as outreach strategy may shift with greater data availability.Maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient informationMaintain a good collaborative working relationship with your designated market team & practice leadership teamExperience:2-year health care experience required, 1+ year of call center experience preferredMinimum 1-year customer service and telephonic experience requiredExperience & comfort using technology such as a computer, telephone, and various types of electronic health record (EHR) platforms to document patient interactions and schedule patients for appointments Medical Terminology certification is preferredStrong organizational skillsAbility to work independentlyProficient with Microsoft and Google applicationsStrong communication skills Strong motivational skills including conflict/dispute resolution techniquesMust have access to strong internet connectionBilingual preferredSTAR CANDIDATE QUALITIES:• Strong customer service background with a good phone voice• Understanding of basic medical terminology• Tech Savvy• Empathetic• Strong attention to detail• Confident with multitasking• Be skilled at overcoming reluctance and turning a "no" into a "yes."• Experience with multiple EHR systems or ability to navigate through multiple systems• Experience with google products (specifically google meet, google sheets)EEO/AA Employer/Vet/DisabledThe Know Your Rights poster is available here:https://www.eeoc.gov/sites/default/files/2023-06/22-088_EEOC_KnowYourRights6.12.pdfThe pay transparency policy is available here:https://www.dol.gov/sites/dolgov/files/ofccp/pdf/pay-transp_%20English_formattedESQA508c.pdfFor temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, the Company is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.We are committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
