Application Engineer Job

Mission Details

• Plan, organize and direct the activities of the coater in compliance with HSEQ and operational requirements.
• Ensure daily lab work in timely manner with good quality and efficiency.
• Optimize preventive and predictive maintenance system to maximize equipment performance and minimize operating costs for the plant.
• Improve continuously the Application equipment, process and procedures to achieve high product quality and safety.
• Participate& Support line manager for maintenance budget development and monitor maintenance key performance indicators.
• Conduct the lab test or coater trial or experiment for product evaluation to support relevant technical activities requested from internal and external customer; Support to technical projects to meet required timeline and ensure deliverables.
• Manage the application assets to keep it in well condition including maintenance and appropriately manage/allocate the coater schedule to support the team activity.
• Manage the consumable material/good used in lab and make proposal or purchase plan for those to keep application hall running smoothly;
• Provide mechanical and electrical support to pilot equipment in a safe manner, Preliminarily analyse the root cause of the problem when the machine is dead;
• Communicate internally & externally with customer& allied supplier.
• Converting customer requirements and voice on application and simulate it by using Bostik capability to meet the customer requirement; Demonstrate & present the application trial in front of the customer;
• Support line manager to develop purchasing plan for spare parts to ensure smooth operations and localize imported spare parts to lower maintenance cost without compromising performance.
• Proactively support line manager and play a role on the project of application capability development and get it done to meet the project target.
• Ensure proper documentation of all coater trials including all material lot numbers, process parameters, etc.
• Follow up Company HSEQ policy and procedure and implement those policy related in application hall;
• Timely report out if have any concerns about HSEQ
• Adhere to the operation concept of energy saving and environmental protection. Implement basic energy-saving awareness in daily work and support the company's energy saving and environmental work;

CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT

• The position works in a lab environment. And requires domestic travel if required;
• The job holder works closely with Product development department, Technical Service, Sales and Marketing department, to plan coater trials and customer demonstrations.

Required Profile

• Diploma/ BE/B.Tech : Mechanical/ Electronics/Chemical/Polymer
• Hands on experience in using hot melt applicators.
• 3-5 years in the similar Industry (Hygiene, Packaging, Allied Supplier like Nordson, Customers like Niine, RSPL etc)
