Role Description / Responsibilities:
- Primary point of contact for all technical program-related matters. Often on-site at the customer.
Establish and maintain a good and effective Customer relationship:
- Liaison between customer-company Product Development/Manufacturing.
- Coordination of customer feedback with manufacturing and Product development teams.
- Assist customers in areas related to company products.
- Investigate issues/roadblocks and consistently assure customer satisfaction as per Visteon policies.
- Identify and provide reliable solutions through all stages of product development.
- Present and explain information clearly to the Customer.
- Maintain accurate documentation and provide updates on the open items list.
- Understand and convey Customer’s design requirements and specifications to the Product Development team.
- Attend/coordinate all Customer meetings as required (Product Assurance Team, Design Reviews, Technical Data Reviews, Software Reviews, etc)
- Develop a working knowledge of the product line and vehicle line to be able to support the customer needs.
- Coordination of part delivery.
- Development and prototype parts for breadboards.
- Ensure the latest HW and SW are provided and replace or re-flash as required.
- Ensure exceptions/known limitations are communicated.
- Always confirm parts are in good condition before delivery.
- Coordination of system modules and set-up for company Software and Validation.
- Support the Customer with vehicle-level testing (in vehicle and breadboard).
- Prepare deliverables such as test plans, guides, and manuals in coordination with the Requirements and SW team.
- Perform vehicle/product troubleshooting.
Engineering Interface
- Participate in company Product Development team meetings (Whiteboard, CCB, Peer Reviews, PTO, TDRs, etc.)
- Support change control process for Customer requested changes (DCRs) as required.
Quality
- Ensure closure of all Customer issues (AIMs, etc.) via their system in the time required.
- Support TQCM.
- Initiate VPRS for program/warranty issues.

Qualification, Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience, relevant internship experiences will be considered.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Inspiring, creative and anticipates change, proactively considers the customer’s perspective, seeks out new ideas and solutions.
- Analytical thinker able to focus on the key drivers of a decision and think through the down-stream consequences of various options. Considers implications, financial impact, strategic alignment and influence to customer’s strategy when making decisions.
