Application Support Engineer

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Counsel dealers and customers to define technology requirement of developing new products for N.A. markets.
• Provide product improvement guidance based on existing customer issues and requirements.
• Work with engineering team in China to make the Company's mining products compliant with standards and regulations of safety, emission control, ergonomics, etc., in different markets.
• Support sale/market and service/after-sale teams on product and machine applications.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 5+ years prior experience in design or product support of mining equipment and field experience in mines in N.A.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, communicate effectively and work on increasingly more complex assignments.
• Must be willing to travel extensively (>25%)
• Respect cultural diversity and inclusive environment

• Knowledge of N.A. mining industry and mining equipment.
• Strong communication, leadership, and relationship building skills.
• Ability to influence others in the work group, dealer and customer personnel
• Prior customer facing experience in mining industry.
• High level of initiative

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
