Marketing and Sales Manager

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivering sales revenue and profitability goals for North America in the Company's mining products.
  • Act as a sales liaison among dealers, consulting engineers, customers, and other company personnel. You should be very familiar with the company's products, processes, and systems.
  • Counseling dealers in developing increased human performance capability; providing guidance on existing and potential customer service issues; assisting on forecast, sales strategy planning and sales techniques; supporting rollout of new products; analyzing and communicating marketplace and competitive activity; analyzing product application, configuration and utilization that provide the best solution for a customer.
  • Support training consulting engineers, customers, and dealers on the Company's mining products and services.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing or engineering
  • 5+ years prior experience in equipment sale or marketing or service in mining industry and field experience in mines in N.A.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, communicate effectively and work on increasingly more complex assignments.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively (>50%)
  • Respect cultural diversity and inclusive environment

Top Candidates Will Also Have

  • Knowledge of N.A. mining industry and certain mining equipment.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to influence others in the work group, dealer personnel and customers
  • Prior customer facing experience in mining industry.
  • High level of initiative

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year

  • Naperville, IL: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)

Experience:

  • Equipment sales: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Marketing: 5 years (Preferred)
