We encourage all eligible candidates, including U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and those with existing work authorization, to apply.The Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) Engineer works with a team of data scientists to aid in the design and development of machine learning frameworks to accelerate development and productionalization of models.This position supports Mercys efforts to deliver on the vision of personalized, predictive, and proactive care.The MLOps Engineer assists in defining and implementing best practices and leverage their prior engineering, data science, and machine learning experience to build and maintain Mercys ML platform and infrastructure. This position completes routine engineering assignments as directed and assists on more complex projects.The MLOps Engineer effectively documents, develops, and communicates project plans and analytic findings with a variety of technical/non-technical stakeholders. This position will report to the Director of MLOps.Qualifications:• Experience: At least 2 years experience in a similar role• Required Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field experience.• Other: Have a strong knowledge of electronic medical record data, clinical data, claims data, or financial data.- Advanced python and related programming skills- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and concepts.- Ability to deploy healthcare-relevant predictive and prescriptive models.- Experience with Cloud-based data and AI solutions, especially in implementation and operationalization of Machine Learning based solutions.- Hands on experience with big data ecosystems, machine learning pipelines, model development lifecycle and operation.- Excellent problem-solving skills- Flexible, dynamic personality who works well in a team environment.- Strong organizational skills, an orientation toward detail, and collaboration oriented.We Offer Great Benefits:Day-one comprehensive health, vision and dental coverage, PTO, tuition reimbursement and employer-matched retirement funds are just a few of the great benefits offered to eligible co-workers, including those working 32 hours or more per pay period!We're bringing to life a healing ministry through compassionate care.At Mercy, our supportive community will be behind you every step of your day, especially the tough ones.
