Apprentice - Maintenance

Johnson Electric’s technology leadership and application expertise make it the ideal partner for customer product development projects. We are looking for an Apprentice for our Maintenance program.

You will learn to:

Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Ensure all machinery, equipment, building structures and facilities are maintained and functioning properly
Perform maintenance on all manufacturing and facility equipment, such as mold presses, pneumatic/hydraulic presses, PLC controlled equipment, electrical testing and miscellaneous plant equipment
Troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical problems on equipment and provide timely short-term and long-term recommendations
Provide timely and detailed information to management on equipment status, issues, corrective actions, and updates on activities that had taken place during the applicable shift
Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required
Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies, inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies’ placing and expediting orders’ verifying receipt may obtain estimates for supplies, repair parts; orders parts as needed
Manage activities identified in the ATF 16949, IS0 9001, ISO 13485 procedures
Support a quality first approach to daily tasks to provide the best product to our customers
Follow and adhere to relevant health and safety standards

Our requirements:

Enrolled or will be enrolled I the related instruction courses required with: Sinclair Community College, Edison State University, or Upper Valley Career Center
Eligible to work in the United States (including ITAR requirements)
Successfully pass a background check and drug screen
Must be 18 years or older
Lift up to 45 lbs
