OverviewPlacement Type:TemporarySalary:$89.89 to $99.88/hrStart Date:01.06.2025• * Applicants must be local to the San Francisco Bay Area and able to commute to Mountain View office 3 days per week. **Project Overview:We are looking for a senior UX designer to work on interfaces for authentication for Android, including on-device and cross-device authentication for various form factors (watch, phone, tablet).Overall Responsibilities:• Work on product, interaction, and visual design• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of designers, researchers, writers, engineers, and product managers throughout the product development process• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables collaborating and negotiating with globally distributed partners• Develop storyboards, mockups, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas• Design, develop, and document patterns and guidelines• Work with engineering to ensure designs are implemented to spec and collaborate on creative design solutions for technical challengesMandatory Skills/Qualifications:• Experience in UX Design creating user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for product development with a strong portfolio to prove it.• Ability to digest complex technical requirements to create accessible on-device and cross-device journeys.• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of designers, researchers, engineers, and product managers and driving contentious design decisions with a user-centric mindset.• Ability to work with Figma and the Google suite (Docs, Slides, etc) to design interfaces considering adaptive layouts and experiences on various form factors.Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:• Experience designing for phone or wear OS in large OEMs (Google, Samsung, Apple, Xiaomi, Oppo…) and in designing for sensor and biometric interfaces.• Demonstrated experience in interaction and visual design creating responsive interfaces for multiple surfaces, especially watches.• Track record of implementing, contributing to, or evolving design frameworks and reusable patterns.• Ability to work within large, matrixed organizations and the ability to manage projects and partner with teams, influencing without authority, and dealing with ambiguity.The target hiring compensation range for this role is $89.89 to $99.88 an hour.
