With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.Role description:Arcadis is seeking a Georgia Bridge Lead to deliver both conventional and Design Build projects based in our Atlanta, GA office. In this role you will support a variety of projects in Georgia and across the Southeast. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your technical expertise and management skills as part of an industry leading firm built on a culture of collaboration.Role accountabilities:• Serve as lead engineer for bridges and other structures, including new construction, inspection, repair, and rehabilitation projects. This includes leading, assigning and reviewing work and providing technical guidance to the team, junior engineering staff and CAD technicians.• You will work closely with other discipline leads to provide innovative solutions for our clients, including state DOT’s, municipal entities, and contractors.• Review technical packages as part of our internal Quality Matters program• Review technical packages from other consultants as owner’s representative• Engage with our marketing teams to support pursuits and proposals• Deliver quality plans, calculations, and specifications on schedule.• Prepare scope and fee proposals for structures work• You will also work with our Georgia team to pursue new projects and develop strong client relationships.Qualifications & Experience:Required Qualifications• 12 or more years bridge design experience• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field• Registrations/Certifications required: GA PE or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire• Experience with AASHTO LRFD• Experience with GDOT design criteria and standards• Familiarity with structural engineering software packages such as: Bentley OpenBridge, Bentley Microstation, MathCAD, and Microsoft OfficeKey Attributes• Work independently with minimal direction and oversight.• Demonstrate excellent time management skills with the ability to work on multiple unique assignments simultaneously• Direct and mentor junior level staff inside of the project team• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to effectively convey information to technical and non-technical individuals.• A valid driver’s licensePreferred Qualifications• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering• Experience with Design-Build projects• Bridge inspection, repair, and rehabilitation experienceWhy Arcadis?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $116000 - $174000.
