With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.Role description:As a Project Controls Manager you will oversee and manage various aspects of project tracking, reporting, and controls within an organization. The preferred experience for this role includes involvement in projects with a delivery partner approach, project management advisory, or owner's representation. Experience in rail, heavy rail or heavy civil work, federal funding (particularly FTA grants), and alternative project delivery methods is also desired.Role accountabilities:• Responsible for overseeing all in-office services related to project controls. This includes activities such as scheduling, cost control, cash flow management, risk management, reporting, tracking, forecasting, document controls, security-sensitive document handling, and data and systems management.• Ensure that project tracking and reporting services are effectively managed. This involves monitoring project progress, analyzing data, preparing reports, and providing timely updates to stakeholders.• Strong working knowledge of financial modeling, cash flow tracking, and projections is required. The Project Controls Manager should be proficient in analyzing financial data and providing accurate forecasts related to project costs and cash flow.• Responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules, identifying critical paths, and analyzing schedule impacts due to changes or delays.Qualifications & Experience:• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.• At least 15-20 years of experience in leadership roles, managing senior specialists and managerial staff within the project controls function.• Experience in program-level and project-level scheduling for large transportation infrastructure projects, such as rail, tunnels, stations, signal, power, and trackwork projects.• Strong working knowledge of financial modeling, cash flow tracking, and projections.• Experience with P6 construction scheduling software and schedule development and analysis.• Proficiency in using industry software and major project controls database and reporting platformsWhy Arcadis?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
