Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers for 60 miles at speeds of up to 150 mph while producing minimal noise.

This internship is a part of a 10-week summer internship program opportunity. This role will be based at Archer’s headquarters in San Jose, California and relocation or housing will not be provided. 

What You’ll Do:

Archer is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Analyst  intern to join the Finance team within Archer. This internship provides a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in various aspects of our operations within Finance.. 

• Collaborate with teams to create effective and scalable datasets
• Assist in monthly variance analysis of actuals to budget and understand business drivers
• Partner with FP&A team to assess areas for improvement and perform ad-hoc projects as they come up
• Analyze financial data for select business units, ensure budget remains on track

What You Need:

• Masters degree or MBA
• Sound knowledge of Finance and accounting processes, with a desire to make a career in FP&A
• Ability to learn and adapt within an ambiguous environment
• Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills 
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Eager to learn, positive attitude and highly motivated 

Bonus Qualifications:

• Roughly 2 years of experience in Finance or related field desired 
• Experience with FP&A software tools (Adaptive, OneStream or Anaplan) and ERP systems(SAP, Oracle or Netsuite) 
• Data visualization tools such as Tableau, Google Data Studio, etc
• Understanding of aerospace industry, eVTOL is a plus 
• Knowledge of Google suite applications
