Staff PCB Layout Engineer

Archer, an aerospace company in San Jose, California, is seeking a Staff PCB Layout Engineer to design and develop PCBAs for eVTOL applications.

Skills

Experience in designing rigid, flex, and rigid-flex PCB designs
Knowledge of high voltage creepage and clearance design
Expertise in length matching, differential pairs, and RF design
Familiarity with multi-layer board stack-ups and technologies
Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

Lead eCAD tools and design PCBAs for eVTOL applications
Create and manage Altium eCAD library
Perform component placement, trace routing, analysis, and verification
Generate fabrication drawings and bills of materials for PCBA designs
Develop efficient processes for design information interchange
Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Education

BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or related field
