Sr. Staff Solution Architect, Low Code

What You’ll Do

As a Solution Architect in our Corporate Technology team, you will play a critical role in shaping the internal application landscape for Archer's enterprise business processes using low-code development. You will collaborate closely with IT leads, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to harness the power of internal application development to drive operational excellence and innovation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to gather and analyze application requirements, designing solutions that align with business needs.

  • Developing architecture diagrams and technical design documents to guide internal application development initiatives.

  • Providing expertise and guidance to technical developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.

  • Designing, developing, and troubleshooting enterprise application integrations, related enterprise business processes in domains such as design, certification, test, manufacturing operations, and airline operations business processes.

  • Providing requirements and strategic input to the maintenance of integrations between enterprise applications to ensure seamless functionality.

  • Implementing performance improvement measures for internal applications and recommending enhancements.

  • Incorporating security measures to protect sensitive data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation related to internal application architecture and processes.

  • Collaborating with software vendors, and consultants to deliver effective internal applications, services and solutions.

  • Diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues related to internal applications, providing critical incident support.

  • Staying updated with the latest application development trends, technologies, and best practices to identify opportunities for process and system enhancements.

What You Need

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience (10+ years) in a technical role related to low code development & enterprise applications architecture and solutions.

  • Proficiency in internal application development technologies and platforms, including but not limited to low-code platforms such as Mendix or equivalent, enterprise application integrations for PLM & ERP, data governance, and data security.

  • Proficiency in SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), HMI (Human-Machine Interface), and other shop floor systems within the ISA-95 architecture.

  • Strong business process and domain experience in manufacturing planning and operations, particularly in a complex manufacturing environment, ideally within the aerospace industry.

  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, JavaScript, and other relevant languages that facilitate internal application development.

  • Experience with REST APIs for enterprise application integrations.

  • Experience in low-code platform implementation, customization, configuration, and integration.

  • Knowledge of data security best practices and compliance requirements.

  • Familiarity with internal application performance tuning and optimization techniques.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex internal application issues.

  • Relevant certifications and qualifications in low-code platform development and related areas are a plus.

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $163,200-$204,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
