Staff Accountant
Argyle, a fast-growing Series C startup, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to join their remote-first team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in accounting and finance.
Skills
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and MS Excel
- Experience with accounting/tax software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective teamwork and collaboration abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Assist in processing accounts payable and receivable
- Perform regular bank reconciliations
- Monitor and track expenses
- Assist in preparing financial reports
- Support external auditors during audits
- Provide accurate data for payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Provide general administrative support
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
