DATA ENGINEER (AZURE)

6 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT
WELLINGBOROUGH (HYBRID)

Working with internal and external stakeholders as well as the wider Weatherbys Banking Group, you will design, develop, and maintain Azure-based solutions.

You will be working on cutting-edge technology projects within a small but highly skilled team that plays a crucial role in driving the company's technological advancements and supporting its strategic business objectives. 

Salary will be in the region of £140,000-£160,000 FTE.  Based in our Wellingborough head office, you will have the flexibility to work from home on a hybrid basis, ideally 1 to 2 days per week onsite.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure Azure solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements.
• Implement Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL Database, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Lake.
• Develop and maintain ARM templates, Azure DevOps pipelines, and CI/CD processes.
• Integrate Azure services with on-premises systems and third-party applications.
• Monitor and optimize the performance, security, and cost of Azure resources.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Azure-related issues.
• Stay updated with the latest Azure features and best practices.
• Document technical solutions and processes.
• Develop and maintain data visualization and reporting solutions using Power BI.
• Perform data analysis to support business decision-making and strategy. 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Azure development.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.

IT WOULD BE NICE FOR YOU TO HAVE

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, or JavaScript.
• Microsoft Certification in Azure.
