As a UX designer in our San Jose office, you’ll chip in solving sophisticated problems using user-centered and design thinking approaches for customer facing experiences and services.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:· Analyze quantitative data to uncover opportunities· Assist in user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing· Build wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and prototypes to optimally communicate design ideas and interactions· Deliver high-fidelity UI mockups and design assets that are visually appealing, consistent, and aligned with the brand identity· Provide valuable UX insights to drive successful campaigns and product launches· Create documents/specs for UX/UI solutions in a way that a development team can use them for application and feature development.· Build Figma Design Templates and Component Libraries· Front-end UAT support for newly development digital experiences· Design, test, and iterate to build intuitive and scalable user experiences· Construct Web pages (CMS) and templates· Collaborate with designers and external agencies· Support in the development and maintenance of arm design systems, style guides, and UI pattern libraries to ensure consistency and scalability across digital estate· Keep up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:· Preferred, but not required: Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field, or equivalent practical experience· Provide a portfolio of material that demonstrates experience crafting responsive interfaces· Prefer 8+ years of experience with UX/UI work in a team environment·Preferred experience includes Adobe XD: over 1 year, Figma: over 1 year, and Sitecore (CMS): 1 year.· Strong attention to detail and a dedication to delivering high quality designs· Experience collaborating with engineering teams using Atlassian products including Asana, JIRA and Confluence· Experience working with design systems· Understanding of accessibility guidelines (WCAG)· Understand desktop vs tablet vs mobile needs (small, medium, and large)NICE TO HAVES:·Any front-end development experience is a plus·Knowledge of JavaScript and component-based UI design·Understand front-end development needs and how to design and document for those needsIn Return:Salary Range:From: $118,702To: $160,597We value people as individuals and our dedication is to reward people competitively and equitably for the work they do and the skills and experience they bring to Arm.
