As we embark on a journey of growth and expansion, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Strategy & Operations Manager to join our team and contribute to our success. 

The Role

As the Strategy & Operations Manager at Arta Finance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company's strategic initiatives. You will work closely with Arta’s leadership team on the ground.  This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong operational mindset, capable of driving efficiency, optimizing processes, and ensuring the seamless execution of business plans. The ideal candidate will have a background in fintech and a proven track record of successful strategy development and implementation.

What You Will Do

  • Strategic Planning:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies aligned with Arta Finance's overall goals.

    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to formulate and refine strategic plans.

  • Operational Excellence:

    • Streamline and optimize internal processes to enhance operational efficiency

    • Identify and implement best practices for workflow management and resource allocation

    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure operational excellence

  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with various departments, including product development, marketing, and technology, to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

    • Facilitate communication and coordination with leadership, engineering, marketing, product management and more

Who You Are 

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. MBA is a plus.

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience in strategic planning, operations management, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience working at a consulting firm 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex business situations, identify key issues, and develop effective strategies.

  • Ability to think strategically and provide valuable insights to contribute to the development and execution of organizational strategies.

  • Proficient project management skills to oversee and implement strategic initiatives efficiently.

  • Competency in data analysis tools and techniques to gather, interpret, and present data relevant to strategic decision-making.

  • Understanding of strategic frameworks and the ability to analyze data to inform strategic decisions. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate strategies, present findings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Based in the Bay area, or you already have a plan to relocate to the Bay area to work from our Mountain View HQ at least 3 times per week. We would not consider a remote arrangement for this position.

Arta's Compensation Philosophy

We determine your level based on factors including your interview performance, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Our offers are based on salary bands that are updated periodically using market benchmarks and consider geographic location as well (for example, higher cost regions like San Francisco or New York). If you are presented with an offer, we will review the base salary, benefits, number of options, notional option value and strike price. We would like to know if you accept our offer within 7 days.

Please keep in mind that the equity portion of your offer is not included in these numbers and represents a significant part of your total compensation.

IC I: $110,000-$180,000
IC II: $160,000-$230,000
IC III: $180,000-$300,000
