Job Description:

• Technical external and internal interface for LifeTech mechatronic customer related CPD projects
• Responsible for the availability of the agreed specifications in close coordination with sales functions and customers
• Coordination of the technical requirements with internal interfaces and creation of the specification sheet
• Consideration of risk analysis and higher-level requirements, such as certificates and quality proofs
• Preparation and presentation of the topic for decision-making processes and ensuring higher-level communication
• Support in project planning and timing of the individual project phases
• Technical coordination of solutions in close collaboration with international cross-country development resources incl. testing in close coordination with management
• Organization of acceptance tests at customer sites incl. provision of hardware, commissioning and presentation of the solution

Experience and Skills:

• Above average Bachelor of Science' degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering
• Knowledge of higher programming languages (e.g.CODESYS, C++, C#, Java, Python...) as well as the important current bus systems; Ethernet/IP, IO-Link, ModBus, CAN etc.
• Can show proven success in an atmosphere with varying amounts of ambiguity, but still able to set and deliver on plans with proven processes, with proven track record of launching complex automation projects
• Knowledge of Festo development process such as qualification, validation, design of experiments, FMEA and design for manufacturing
• Initial experience with medical and laboratory applications and good knowledge of Festo products and services
• Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a multinational/multicultural R&D teams
• Demonstrated strong documentation and organization skills
• Strong customer orientation skills; oral and written communication skills; presentation skills
• Experience working in a regulated environment (ISO/ FDA)
• High willingness to travel
