Come join the Artech team!Job Title: Site Reliability EngineerLocation: RemoteDuration: 6+ Months (Extension expected)Pay: $60/hr on W2 without benefits• Site Reliability EngineerResponsibilities• Deploy and manage applications on top of Kubernetes, ensuring they meet performance and reliability requirements.• Handle regular application deployments and updates using Kubernetes tools like helm and Spinnaker.• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues that arise while running on Kubernetes.• Write and maintain Python code for automation, scripting, and tool development related to Kubernetes and application management.• Understand Java code and be able to work with Java-based applications.• Collaborate with development teams to ensure application compatibility and performance on Kubernetes.• Create and manage Docker images for applications.• Understand Docker concepts and best practices for containerization.Qualifications• Strong experience with Kubernetes, application deployment, and troubleshooting.• Proficiency in Python programming, with a focus on automation and scripting.• Understanding of Java and experience managing Java-based applications.• Solid knowledge of Docker and containerization concepts.• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.• Strong communication and documentation skills.Additional Skills• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., terraform, helm).• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).• Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.Plus• Experience with service meshes (e.g., Istio, Linkerd)Nitish BoseLead RecruiterCell: 973.933.4990Email: nitish.bose@artech.com
