Senior UX/UI Designer

Title: Senior UX/UI Designer Duration: 6 month contract with likely 6 month extension and Possible conversion to perm after 12 months... Schedule: Hybrid. 2-3 days per week onsite at AVEVA office in Lake Forest, California Payrate: $60 to $67/hr. Job Description • We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced UX practitioner to design innovative end-user experiences for our enterprise software applications. • You will be joining a global UX team who enjoy solving problems with design to deliver original and well thought-out solutions. • Collaborating with product managers, developers and customers, you will champion the best designs for our users. Responsibilities • Responsible for UX deliverables across a range of projects, from concepts through to high fidelity interaction design • Work with product management to help define UX vision across various products, balancing user needs and business requirements • Understand company goals and objectives to help set priorities • Contribute to and promote the client Design System across all products Skills & Experience • 6 to 8+ years’ UX experience backed by a portfolio of user-centered design solutions • Solid experience with user research, usability testing and identifying key user requirements • Proven track record in producing high quality UX deliverables: user journeys, workflows, wireframes and detailed interaction specifications • Sketching designs with pencil & paper and digital tools • Ability to work across multiple platforms: web, desktop and hybrid • Excellent communication skills, both to management and more junior staff • Capable of multi-tasking, meeting deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment Desirable • A degree or work experience in HCI or UX/UI • Experience pitching ideas to management • Understanding of technical requirements and how they affect UX Design • Prepared to travel and have a sense of humor Kamran Beg (973) 360-8368 Kamran.beg@artech.com
