The effective candidate will perform a wide variety of tasks in support of a manufacturing / production environment. Duties include assembly, disassembly, re-assembly, fabrication, repair and/or inspection of electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems. May set up and operate a variety of machine and hand instruments. May route, dispatch and expedite flow of material. Checks for work correctness. Specific duties will include material preparation and the assembly and rework of electronic and mechanical assemblies. Perform wire/cable preparation, installation, crimping, and torquing using hand instruments. All work is performed in accordance with written work instructions to prescribed standards.

Required Skills:

• 2 or more years working in a Manufacturing, Assembly, Aviation or Naval Environment with hands on technical experience in the repair, installation, and inspection.
• Experience with VM, CMES, SAP, or other manufacturing automation data bases and tools
• Excellent hand/finger dexterity and extreme attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to detailed work instructions and quality standards
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Experience with the use of common hand instruments (screwdrivers, sockets, ratchets, torque tools and analyzers, etc.)
• U.S. Citizenship status is required, as this position will require the ability to access U.S. only data systems.
• Must have a Secret Clearance

Typically Requires:

HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Electronics, Military training in electronic testing / troubleshooting, or equivalent experience / education in testing processes.
