PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and provide technical assistance to manufacturing personnel across multiple product families.
- Implement procedures and recommend improvements for production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.
- Provide continual evaluation of the group's processes and methods, to assure the most effective use of resources and equipment.
- Provide day to day supervision of employee job execution, to include training, performance evaluation and employee relations.
- Recommend tooling supplies and replacement parts as required.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, and organization of equipment and materials in the fabrication area.
- Work with Engineering, Production Control, and QA on drawing problems, manufacturing order problems, and quality problems.
- Must ensure that company policies and procedures are being enforced and adhered to at all times.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- General knowledge of the oil and gas industry
- Prefer a minimum of 5-years' experience with assembly/electrical/testing manufacturing processes.
- Previous lead/supervisory experience preferred.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Experience working with ISO standards.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
- Ability to operate both JIB and Overhead cranes.
- Ability to operate Class IV Forklifts (Hyster 50 - 170)
