Job Description: Inventory Supervisor Role Overview: An important role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of inventory for the Sample Fulfillment Center (SFC) and the FDX program fulfillment to stores is held by the Inventory Supervisor (ICC). In addition, the ICC plays an essential role in managing inventory functions for the PRC (Loc.798). The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for providing input on improving inventory-related processes and procedures, implementing efficient tracking methods, and suggesting technological advancements to streamline inventory management:• Execute regular inventory audits using predefined methods and maintain accurate inventory records as per company regulations.• Examine all the irregularities concerning inventory and bring about the requisite amendments in the inventory system.• Update the Inventory Control Supervisor regarding any discrepancies noted during the CCYL.• Enforce a strict returns policy: A clear and strict returns policy will prevent fraudulent returns and the loss of inventory.• Carry out the daily audit of the NIR while following the guidelines outlined in the SOP for inventory control.• The daily verification process for the Allocated Sales Report (ASR).• Assess the weekly SILVON generated reports, distributed by the Inventory Control Supervisor, for inventory codes including EX, AD, WO, VA, US & DM to make certain that correct inventory disposition was carried out by the system. Find and rectify any discrepancies found and inform the Inventory Control Supervisor for necessary action. Archive in the cycle count drawer on a monthly basis.• Conduct weekly reviews of SILVON reports with less than 50 records or Top 150 OH (SILVON) for managing any exceptions that may arise.• Verify the precision of shipping and receiving reports while conducting in-depth audits on each incoming and outgoing truck.• In case of any labeling or SKU mistakes with the merchandise, it is essential to inform the Inventory Control Supervisor about the discrepancies noticed.• Use the system to manage and acknowledge the receipt of incoming POs and transfers.• Work alongside the Inventory Control Supervisor to facilitate the physical inventory process.To be eligible for the position of Inventory Coordinator, there are specific minimum requirements that must be met:• Preferred applicants should have inventory operations experience in a warehouse setting for a period of 1 to 3 years.• Prospective candidates should have experience in the use of RF scanning and data capture devices in warehouse management systems.• Those who possess business analysis experience may have an edge in the job market.• A high level of attentiveness to detail and exceptional organizational skills are essential.• Capability to pursue several assignments concurrently, adhere to given deadlines, and function effectively in a dynamic work setting.• The job requires competent customer service skills and a capacity to cope with pressure.Physical/Sensory Requirements:• Performing activities that require the movement of objects frequently entails applying a force ranging from 10 to 50 pounds.• The potential to exert 10 pounds of force without fluctuation to move or lift objects.• Manipulating objects through the use of hands and fingers is a task frequently required of the worker.• The worker could be expected to stand and walk periodically, use their arms and hands to reach for items, climb and balance, and even stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl on occasion.Atmospheric Conditions: As part of this job, the employee will be working indoors in a warehouse with the possibility of being surrounded by moving vehicles, which can contribute to the noise level of the work environment.Why join us?• Our company culture values hard work, dedication, and commitment.
