Assistant Controller

  • Lead the preparation and review of Forms 10-Q/10-K/8-K in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements, and ensure timely EDGAR submission
  • Review monthly and quarterly reporting packages for executive management including detailed analytical review to understand all material movements
  • Research technical accounting and reporting matters and stay abreast of pending changes in relevant guidance and analyze the potential impact to the company
  • Coordinate and monitor the SOX compliance process with the internal and external auditors
  • Review financial disclosures within quarterly and annual earnings releases, investor decks, and other communications
  • Liaise with FP&A, legal, investor relations, internal and external auditors, and provide advice and assistance
  • Work closely with external auditors to provide all necessary information for the quarterly reviews and annual audit
  • Lead policy and procedures establishment and/or enhancement process throughout the enterprise
  • Participate in projects and system enhancements designed to improve efficiency
  • Lead, coach, and develop direct report(s) in day-to-day responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 5-8 years of accounting/audit experience. Big 4 public accounting experience preferred
  • CPA, preferred
  • ERP System skills including SAP systems, NetSuite and Workiva (preferred not required)
  • Strong operational, organization, and analytical skills required
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment; proven experience as an independent team leader with clear ownership and accountability for delivering results
  • Strong “presence” – ability to influence peers and leadership team
  • Ability to analyze complex business transactions and articulate accounting implications to commercial teams
  • Attention to detail and ability to complete projects in a timely and effective manner
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills required

US Pay Transparency Range $105,196.00 - $131,494.00
