Title: Assistant Director

Scope of Position

Support the Operations Director in the management and delivery of programmatic activities and functions with a focus on special grants and initiatives, performance outcomes, and staff development and training.

Essential Functions

  • Support and advise program leaders in the development and implementation of track strategies that ensures successful attainment of performance goals and standards
  • Assist Operations Director with special grants, projects and initiatives, and program related tasks
  • Provide Operations Director with regular project status updates and requested reports as needed
  • Assists the Operations Director, managers, and staff to ensure optimal customer flow, service delivery, and data management
  • Oversee Quality Assurance team to ensure performance goals and standards are attained, data handling and reporting requirements are met, and ISO compliance and audits completed
  • Ensure data entered on the required systems is current and accurate
  • Provide managerial support and guidance with new staff onboarding and ongoing staff development trainings
  • Guide leadership team on HR related items
  • Supervise assigned personnel; evaluate work; recommend and implement approved disciplinary and/or corrective action
  • Support the advancement of procedures and process flows that ensure quality service delivery
  • Aide in writing and development of contracts
  • Coordinate the development and evolution of vendor and agency partnerships

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; and a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in public administration, human services or a related field with at least one year of management or supervisory experience in workforce development
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Ability to gather and synthesize information from a wide variety of people and sources
  • Must have notable experience in team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
