POSITION SUMMARY:

The Assistant, Global Brand Experience and Events position will work with the Brand Experience team to conceptualize and execute a wide range of global and regional experiences, special events and promotional activity for all divisions of the brand, maintaining industry and consumer perception of Calvin Klein as a leading lifestyle brand. In addition to global projects this role will specialize in and directly support market initiatives for our International regions as it pertains to Brand Experience. The role will also provide assistance to the Sr. Director and Manager, Brand Experience and Events as it relates to departmental and/or administrative needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directly support Global Brand Experience and Events team with preparation, planning and execution of assigned experiences and events on a global and regional scale.
  • Detailed research in support of and specific to designated projects and launches.
  • Directly support Manager with organization and planning aspects for International regions.
  • Keep actively abreast of and inform through weekly reports of cultural happenings across creative scenes (fashion, entertainment, art, music, etc.), live events and experiences, industry collaborations, and emerging trends in tech innovation.
  • Production coordination from concept stages through to execution. Responsibilities to include: scheduling, research and sourcing, support of vendor and entertainment management, catering, visual and décor, invites and collateral, check-in logistics, on-site event execution, set-up and breakdown for events; as well as general organization of event materials (staff uniforms, iPad, etc.).
  • Assist with creating internal and external decks (e.g. research, event concepts and proposals, seasonal guidelines, etc.) and creative briefs. Assist Manager with post-event recaps.
  • Work closely with Manager on all creative brief submissions and collateral for event.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with internal CKI departments and external partners, offering clear and timely communication.
  • Maintaining an ongoing list of new establishments (restaurants, venues, etc.) in New York City and key markets.
  • Works with the Sr. Director and Manager of Brand Experience on administrative duties including event related travel plans and appointment scheduling.
  • Create and distribute meeting agendas and meeting recap notes. Help create and update detailed production timelines to stay on top of priorities and key deadlines.
  • Support departmental and event related invoice submission and tracking of payments to vendors.
  • Maintains Brand Experience digital share archive by project, including all event collateral, marketing and creative materials.
  • Maintains the Global Event and Cultural Calendar and handles monthly distribution to Domestic and International integrated teams.
  • Oversee departmental supply orders and maintain inventory of Brand Experience closet.
  • Coordinates travel both domestically and internationally for external individuals traveling on behalf of CKI to events (including entertainment, press, bloggers, stylists, etc.) and, when necessary, liaises with corporate travel department to coordinate hotel blocks and payment approvals

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1+ years (inclusive internships) f experience in communications, events, public relations, marketing, brand management, or related field; knowledge of or experience in fashion industry preferred
  • Strong interest in Brand Marketing and Events.
  • Able to adapt to the team culture and is passionate about becoming part of it.
  • Must be self-motivated, resourceful, trustworthy, organized, a team player and professional with a positive disposition.
  • Knowledge of and an active interest of the global culture landscape across various creative and industry verticals (fashion, music, film. art, tech, etc).
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel, Keynote, and PowerPoint. Adobe Suite preferred but not required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range: $52,000 - $62,000
PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
