Position Summary:
The Assistant Manager Brand Marketing is responsible for supporting the strategic planning and execution of 360 marketing plans for the Nature’s Bounty business. Under the direction of the Brand Marketing Manager, this individual will contribute to budget management, marketing plan execution, new product introductions, digital and promotional strategies relating to the brand. This position would coordinate with cross functional teams, such as Customer Strategy, Sales, Digital, Agency vendors, to support achievement of brand objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee brand budget, optimizing the marketing mix and communicating with senior management
- Requires collaboration with finance and accounting on monthly deliverables and ad hoc requests
- Track performance of new product launches to identify successes and opportunities in post- launch phase
- Lead cross-functional teams on new line extensions and new packaging launches. Develop project briefs, manage stage-gate process timelines, and align stakeholders to key decision points
- Co-lead digital executions and provide input on content across all channels that ladder to the brand strategy
- Contribute to marketing and sales presentations in development of customer meetings and annual plans
- Collaborate in development of consumer insights, brand communications, retail customer development and other elements of brand strategy
- Develop and display passion for building great consumer brands
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience with 2+ years in a highly similar role
- Branded CPG industry experience preferable
- Undergraduate degree
- MBA preferred
Skills:
- Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical skills and comfort level building analytical models and working with data to create actionable insights
- Must possess strong written and oral communication skills, and enthusiasm for leadership
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Must be able to multi-task and follow-up when responses are needed
- Strong organizational and planning skills are essential
- Proficiency in coordinating across cross-functional teams in a variety of corporate functions including sales, operations, finance, legal and regulatory
- Motivated, energetic, and excited to learn from great leaders in the CPG industry
- Passion for the health & wellness space a plus
The approximate pay range for this position is $85,000- $110,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
