JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Penn State Behrend Athletics organization is searching for an Assistant Sports Information Director. This position will serve under the Director of Athletics and the Sports Information Director and will have responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:
A successful candidate will have a reputation for integrity and demonstrate and foster a positive attitude. Must possess a commitment to high academic standards, and support PSUAC, NCAA, and AMCC philosophies. Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills are essential; must be able to multi-task and is attentive to details. This position is sometimes required to flex hours to cover weekend and evening events.
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of one year of experience in athletics program/project management is highly desired.
This position is a 10-month position with the months of June and July off including full benefits.
