Position Purpose
The Assistant Undergraduate Dean of Case Management provides direct support and coordination of support services for undergraduate students experiencing significant challenges related to academic, mental health, physical health, conduct, substance, and/or social issues. Grounded in the holistic student advising perspective of the Undergraduate Deans Office, the Assistant Undergraduate Dean of Case Management serves as the primary point of contact and liaison between the student, campus colleagues, and family members to ensure that these students receive the supports they need to succeed.

Masters or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Three years relevant work experience
- Proven record of effectiveness in student advising, addressing needs of students from underrepresented backgrounds and support programs that promote student success.
- Proven record of successful experience responding to individual and community-based crises with a high level of discretion and experience with student privacy/confidentiality, including FERPA.
- Outstanding organizational skills, problem-solving, proficiency in teamwork, collaboration, flexibility, and strong communication to multiple audiences.
- Solid foundation in student developmental theory and its application to professional practice in student affairs.
- Experience with on-call responsibilities, student crisis management or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in higher education administration, student development and leadership, student personnel or related field with five years relevant work experience.
