Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. seeks an Associate in New York, NY to prepare merger and leverage buyout models for various transactions including mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and spin-off of assets in the Real Estate, Gaming, Leisure and Lodging industries. Requires a Master’s degree in Finance or related field or equivalent and two (2) years of experience developing and maintaining complex financial models and financial projections, including financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements). Must include at least two (2) years of experience conducting corporate valuation analysis utilizing Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) and leveraged buyout modeling (LBO), including cash flow projection modeling and calculating applicable weighted average cost of capital; preparing memoranda for internal process including capital committee meetings, credit risk meetings, and for internal senior management and board of members for various transactions; preparing materials for lender presentations (LP), Confidential Information Memorandum (CIM), rating agency presentations (RAP) and board materials; collaborating with potential buyers and debt investors answering diligence questions, leveraged buyout and refinancing, including conducting industry and company-specific due diligence; and utilizing knowledge of industry trends and monitoring fundamental economic, industrial, and corporate developments in the real estate, gaming, leisure and lodging sector by analyzing information from financial publications and services, investment banking firms, government agencies, trade publications and company sources.
