Position Title: Associate, Data Strategy & Solutions Relationship Manager

Summary of Duties: Work closely with internal business managers and investment team leads to ensure that investors receive high-value research and to provide transparency on the consumption and research spend across BlackRock Service as point of contact for research providers by responding to inquiries and helping with navigation of our research and payment process. Coordinate approved Research Providers and associated agreements and costs. Provide oversight to quarterly CorpAxe QC process of research consumption. Assist with the quarterly payment allocations and reporting to research providers and internal teams. Submit and approved research invoices to both our internal invoice system and to Virtu, our CSA Aggregator. Assist with oversight of research commission accruals and commission reconciliation performed by Virtu. Work with Index & Data Solutions team through onboarding process of contracted services. Assist with management of AlphaTrawler, our Alpha Capture program, through engagement with program contributors and collaboration with AimPass, who provide the platform for the program. Identify potential process improvements, drive process changes, and help streamline the business.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field of study, and three (3) years of experience as an Associate, Analyst, Analyst and Marketing Intern, or related role. Employer will also accept a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field, and five (5) years of experience as an Associate, Analyst, Analyst and Marketing Intern, or related role. Must also have three (3) years of experience with: utilizing data parsing tools including Sed, Awk, or Perl; utilizing scripting languages, including Python; utilizing SQL for data execution; conducting data analysis; performing financial calculations and applying financial concepts, including notional market value, accrued interest, and net asset value; working with and discovering APIs and web services; working with UNIX/LINUX environments; and utilizing Tableau for data visualizations. Five (5) years of experience required with the aforementioned skills if qualifying with a Bachelor’s degree.
The salary range for this position is $171,000 – $180,000 per year. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
