The Associate Director, Market Research and Analytics is responsible for generating, integrating and translating insights into growth opportunities that shape decisions and drive organizational action within the Janssen Neuroscience Business Unit. This position will serve as an internal consultant to the Neuroscience Mood Marketing & Sales Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership of the design, development, and implementation of primary research plan for HCP, Patient and Payer Stakeholders.
• Partner with the Integrated Analytics team to identify, design and collaborate approaches to inform marketing and sales strategy and tactics.
• Partner with the Franchise team to identify, design and collaborate approaches across Payer, Account, and customer segments.
• Integrate primary research insights with analytical insights to build a comprehensive and holistic understanding of the marketplace and key issues within the therapeutic area and translate these into business impact.
• Provide strategic input to help shape business plans, brand strategies and new indication launch plans and life cycle management.
• Be accountable for conducting research activities in a compliant manner.
• Take personal accountability for making Credo-based decisions and fostering a Credo-based culture.

Qualifications

Education:

• BA/BS required; Advanced degree desirable.

Experience and Skills

Required:

• A minimum of 7 years of relevant business experience in market research, analytics, business intelligence, finance, marketing or sales is required.
• A minimum of 1-3 years of market research experience is required.

Preferred:

• Demonstrated success at being a strategic advisor to business leaders
• Demonstrated success solving business problems and generating actionable insights and recommendations
• Experience shaping and influencing organizational decision-making
• Strength in storytelling, data visualization and developing effective presentations
• Knowledge across a broad spectrum of analytic approaches and ability to identify appropriate approach to address key business questions
• High degree of intellectual curiosity
• Strong leadership agility and demonstrated success solving ambiguous business issues
• Proficiency with all Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Experience managing, leading and coaching direct reports is preferred

• This position may require up to 10% domestic travel.

The base pay range for this position is $113,000 to $195,500. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
