The senior manager, special projects will be the main editorial stakeholder for Allure branded content. They will work across the edit, commercial, and production teams to ideate and execute branded content campaigns – spanning across, digital, video, events, and live shopping – that are aligned with the Allure brand voice.
This role is Allure’s primary liaison with our brand partners to ensure every project meets client expectations and to grow the opportunities tied to our biggest franchises, like Best of Beauty. It’s an exciting opportunity to create innovative projects and partnerships that establish Allure as a thought leader in the beauty and wellness industries.
Primary Responsibilities:
Work across editorial, commercial, and consumer marketing teams to propose and execute branded and sponsored campaigns to grow Allure revenue across all platforms
Work cross-functionally with multiple internal teams to ensure branded content is delivered within campaign deadlines
Write, assign, and/or edit branded content for digital, social, video, and other platforms
Work closely with the Allure editors and contributors in their capacity as talent to facilitate scripting, creative, and invoicing
Share content ideas and approvals for RFPs and other pre-sale requests
Partner with post-sale teams to own all content timelines for sold campaigns, making sure assets are delivered on schedule
Present creative concepts to clients, as needed, and turn around creative updates and refreshes based on feedback
Help grow the roster of freelance writers, content creators, and producers
Support as needed on long-term planning and strategy
Requirements:
At least 5+ years of branded content experience, ideally in beauty and/or health
Must be able to demonstrate significant project management experience, with a very detail oriented approach
A good understanding of the Allure brand voice
Must be solution oriented in producing deliverables across teams and navigating client feedback and KPIs
Ability to make judgment calls in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment, and to flag and escalate any potential issues when necessary
A collaborative work ethic that enables them to effectively work across teams and departments
Base Salary Range: $80,000-$165,000
