Associate, Global Production

The role of the Global Production Associate is to provide administrative support to the Global Production Team members. This includes computer-based work such as data entry and data updates in New Era’s SAP (ERP) system and use of Excel spreadsheets to create and distribute reports. It also includes responding to inquiries from internal departments and global vendors and providing required information.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with any necessary data entry or data updates and other administrative tasks to support the Global Production Team
  • Learn Value Added Services functionality in SAP and be able to enter and update data as needed
  • Administer Value Added Service related procedures with internal teams and global vendors
  • Create and update weekly tracking and exception reports
  • Monitor web-based Supplier Portal daily to ensure vendor required activities are occurring timely and accurately and communicate corresponding exception reports to vendors
  • Create and Maintain metrics
  • Create and administer vendor non-compliance chargebacks related to packing and VAS related requirements which includes communicating with internal teams to track and record non-compliance instances
  • Collaborate with internal teams as well as global vendors to ensure an efficient, timely, and accurate hologram procurement process is executed weekly
  • Enter and update a high volume of records in ERP System (SAP) through manual entry and updating
  • Assist in the execution of Hot Market (special events) activities including processing documents, transacting shipments, and maintaining communication with vendors. This includes travel to domestic vendors.
  • Keeps all sensitive matters confidential
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong computer skills; Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to learn and utilize new systems
  • Ability to establish relationships and interact with various levels within the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and efficiently prioritize workday to maximize productivity
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Enthusiastic, pro-active, and positive person who adapts to change and with urgency and persistence
  • The ability to be innovative and creative when handling difficult business challenges

Education and Experience

  • 0-1 years’ experience in Data Entry/Administrative Position
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Travel Requirement

  • 10%; domestic and/or global
