Associate, Government Contract Advisory

Join Aprio's Advisory Team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio, LLP is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for an Associate to join their dynamic team.

Position responsibilities:

  • Develop an understanding of clients’ business and possess strong customer service skills.
  • Assist in managing client data.
  • Directly supports the client account manager in developing the client’s GSA strategy.
  • Participate in offer preparation to include Kick-off package, Readiness Assessment, populate E-Offer, PPT, T&M matrix, product matrix, pricelist.
  • Collaborate with client account managers to support price analysis, revise PPT and implement pricing strategies.
  • Conduct market research in support of client offers/modifications.
  • Assist in post-award contract administration process and preparing client training materials.
  • Assist with pricelist development and distribution.
  • Prepare administrative modifications to include adding authorized negotiators, change points of contact, address change, etc.
  • Master the use of relevant systems including System for Award Management, GovWin, GSA Calc-Tool, E-buy, SSQ, ECI, and others as appropriate.
  • Responsible for maintaining mass modification spreadsheet and updating client projects and progress status.
  • Keep familiar with changes in GSA and the federal procurement community.
  • Participate in segments of team strategic planning and internal Aprio projects.
  • Participate in business development activities including GovWin reports and industry research.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred) and/or related work experience or certifications
  • Communicates in a timely manner with internal and external customers and follows up with appropriate individuals.
  • Takes responsibility, executes and follows through on timely completion of engagement deliverables.
  • Ability to support multiple clients.
  • Adaptable to constantly changing priorities.
  • Desire to work in a client-facing, consultative role as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong analytical, writing, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and extensive usage of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, or data analytic tools.
The salary range for this opportunity is stated above. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range.
