OVERVIEW
As the Commerce & Growth Manager on the Emerging Brand Center of Excellence team, you will have the opportunity to join Disruptive Growth as we work to build, invest, and partner to create the next growth engine for General Mills. Disruptive Growth brings together the external venture capital arm (301 INC) and our internal venture studio (G-Works), focused on building food solutions for tomorrow’s families today. The Emerging Brand COE is a cross-functional team of GMI savvy, startup scrappy experts providing indispensable partnership and expertise across our Disruptive Growth portfolio of companies.
This newly created Commerce & Growth Manager role will partner with emerging brand teams to support their digital learning and growth plans through utilization of new commerce technology, platforms, and agile tools to reach their goals. The direct effort of your work will inspire passion, creativity, and curiosity while shaping the growth trajectory of Disruptive Growth businesses.
This role is perfect for someone who has strong analytical & capability building experience, thrives in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced setting, and enjoys navigating ambiguity and creative problem-solving. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Ensure teams how to leverage modern commerce & marketing technology toolsets to drive growth
- Build & maintain trusted, collaborative working relationships across the team, stakeholders, experts

Connect cofounders to the right internal & external experts in a timely manner

Provide evidence-based recommendations on digital strategies for new brands as they launch & scale

Own the setup & education on proper usage & compliance of agile technologies
- Direct & guide teams on digital experimentation techniques applicable for the business challenge
- Be able to analyze research data (e.g. A/B test, sample size, statistical significance, etc.) and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

Understand intersection of strategy & digital KPIs, how to measure success, translate data into the business model, and measure comps

Build external agency relationship network & identify partnership opportunities

Be a strategic partner in agency selection and review of RFP/SOW proposals for brand teams

Partner with Legal, Cyber Security, and Finance to ensure compliance
- Identify future growth opportunities for commerce capabilities & resources

Develop & maintain the commerce playbook & supporting curriculum for Disruptive Growth

Proactively communicate project status, risks, and issues; escalate for resolution when appropriate.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent entrepreneurial experience

4 years of relevant industry experience in ecommerce, analytics, paid media & planning

Experience with modern commerce and marketing technologies.
- Must have strong main-point communication, organizational, creative, and time management skills

Ability to use empathy, trust, and partnerships to impact day-to-day behaviors of business teams
- Self-starter with a strong bias for action, as well as skills for problem-solving and troubleshooting

Proven knowledge of standard concepts, practices & procedures within the CPG industry
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience developing, advancing, and implementing new approaches and technologies.

Experience with startups/emerging food brands

Demonstrated commitment to practice technology foresight leveraging internal and external partners.

The salary range for this position $89,200 ‐ $148,800.
