Your Opportunity

In this role you will be encouraged to share your diverse thoughts and ideas. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Analyze consumer samples received from the Away From Home Team and provide written responses
Provide support to the manufacturing plants
Analyze complaint data and provide monthly reports
Watch for trends in quality issues and communicate as needed
Provide information for customer questionnaires
Quarterly calls with the QA managers to review quality improvements and consumer complaint evaluations
Facilitate product cuttings for the department
Member of the QA crisis team
Analyze audit trends
Audit Prodika systems

What we are looking for:

A bachelor’s Degree (Food Science or related degree is preferred)

Minimum of 2 years operations or plant QA experience is required
5 years of professional work experience is required

Self-motivated, strong follow through, ability to work independently
Proficient in Excel, Word, and other computer programs
Good communication skills
Spec audit report
Detail and process oriented, with strong problem resolution abilities
Ability to work in the Orrville office 1 week per month.
