Overview

Morning Brew is looking for a full-time Associate Producer to join our fast-growing multimedia department. This position is based in New York, but all Brew employees are currently working remotely until further notice.

As Associate Producer, you will have a variety of responsibilities across Morning Brew’s video content. Your duties will be diverse and wide ranging, from day-to-day guest booking to show topic/development research, to basic video editing / social video clip review/selection, to assisting on shoots.

Great candidates are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and it’s perfect for an enthusiastic early career producer with lots of hustle and excellent attention to detail. 

Key responsibilities include: 

- Assist Producers with writing, editing, organizing scripts, and shoot prep as needed.

- Own research and booking for Morning Brew’s video content.

- Be part of the creative and development process 

- Operate B-cam on some shoots as needed

- Stringout cuts in premiere as needed

Candidate must-haves: 

- Enthusiasm for and working knowledge of the Brew’s key content areas (business, work life, money) 

- Understanding of social video platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter)

- Strong research and writing ability 

- Outstanding communication, collaboration and organizational skills

- Experience with Premier (After Effects + Photoshop a bonus)

- Some camera operating experience.
